See our penguins step outside to enjoy Pittsburgh’s chilly winter*. Kings, gentoos, and macaronis will waddle down the hill outside of PPG Aquarium, then back up to the top. Bring your cameras!
Thanks to Miller Mats, which provided the carpet that protects the penguins’ feet outdoors.
*Penguin parade subject to weather conditions. Call ahead to ensure that parade will take place.

I’M COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to tell my daughter about this. We have been members for years and the penguins are always her favorite. She even did “Adopt an Animal” with a penguin out of her own savings one year! We missed out on the luncheons with a penguin because we were too late. This will make up for that! Thanks for always bringing new and exciting events!

Awesome time with my daughter and granddaughter! The penguins were so cute! Had a blast!
Loved every second of this!! I sincerely hope this will become a cold-weather tradition at the Zoo. Thank you for such a fun experience!! I was at the Zoo just this past Sunday with a friend, and am now planning to go again with my parents and sister this upcoming Sunday!
