Zoo photographer Paul Selvaggio captured these fantastic images of an Amur tiger cub at our animal health center. For six weeks, the female cub was treated for an infected abscess. She recently received a clean bill of health and is preparing to return to the den with her brother, sister, and mother. Many more photos after the jump. (All photos are ©2010 Paul A. Selvaggio)

Oh my gosh! How adorable! What I would give to be able to work with tigers. Glad she is healthy again and rejoining her family.
OMG! She is so cute. Great Pictures! Glad she is feeling better! Can’t wait to come see all the animals next year!
And to think this guy is gonna be 500 pounds in no time.
The caption for these pix is perfect! The cuteness level *IS* more than I can stand! She’s absolutely adorable!
What a precious little lady! I love how much fun it is when a great photographer and a beautiful, lively subject come together!
She is a ham for the camera – how adorable!!!
She is so cute! How I wish I could hold her.
I cannot stop smiling—-if you ever need to laugh, smile, and feel happy, all you need to do is look at these amazing and adorable photos. So glad that this little girl is healthy and back to her “mischievous kitty” self.
omg you got to be kiding me thay are so cute i would die for one just so cute.
We will be visiting the zoo on May 20th or May 21, 2011. Do you have the baby tigers outside so visitors can get alittle close to them to view? Are there special shows and times for this if you have this program? I will be taking my 5 grandchildren to the zoo…Many years ago, my husband and I took our 3 children there all the time….What a great place to go….Thank you for all your hard work and concern…
To my dismay, I see that some of the photos are foreshortened – with the cub’s head much larger than the rest of its body. I find this really ugly. I hope you don’t continue it. If you did, I would have to stop checking out the Zooborns site.
