It’s going to be obscenely hot in Pittsburgh this weekend.
There will be cooling stations around the city for seniors without air conditioning.
You and your family can cool off at the zoo and get a free scuba diving lesson in the process at the PPG Festival of Water. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we’re providing scuba diving lessons to all comers. We’ll provide the wet suit. you bring the towel.
The fun starts at 10 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m. each day at the PNC Pavilion.
Lessons take about 45-60 minutes from start to finish and are first-come, first-served.
Important: Divers must be at least 10 years old, at least 54 inches tall, and must sign a waiver. Parent or guardian must sign waiver for children under 18.
